Here are some tips you should follow every day if you want to improve your vocabulary drastically;

Read as much as you can

Reading is something that will help you improve your vocabulary as well as writing. Reading is probably the best way to explore new words and learn different forms of writing style. It is proven that the people who read daily have amazing writing skills meaning that they also have a large vocabulary.

Freewriting

This tip will help you get into the habit of writing, try choosing a topic from the internet, and write about it. You will automatically start to discover and use new words in your work resulting in your vocabulary expanding. Try using a thesaurus when freewriting. You don’t have to carry a thesaurus around with you as you can download an app on your phone and then search up the words that you’re trying to find the meaning of. Also, if it’s hard to pronounce the word you come across, you can use the chunking method, it’s when you break the word into different pieces so it’s easier for you to pronounce it all together.

Inspect different writer’s projects

Join a writer’s group or a community because people post writing pieces daily there for you to inspect and learn something from it. Most of them are professional writers as only expert writers are allowed to post in these types of groups. You will learn many new words from them, maybe some different writing styles too.
