You will automatically start to discover and use new words in your work resulting in your vocabulary expanding. Try using a thesaurus when freewriting. You don’t have to carry a thesaurus around with you as you can download an app on your phone and then search up the words that you’re trying to find the meaning of. Also, if it’s hard to pronounce the word you come across, you can use the chunking method, it’s when you break the word into different pieces so it’s easier for you to pronounce it all together.
Inspect different writer’s projects
Join a writer’s group or a community because people post writing pieces daily there for you to inspect and learn something from it. Most of them are professional writers as only expert writers are allowed to post in these types of groups. You will learn many new words from them, maybe some different writing styles too.
