It’s been a while since I wrote anything for Thought Catalog. I’ve decided to start providing them with a few of my more personal narratives (especially those that aren’t necessarily 100% related to trans issues), as it’s just a good fit.
Below, I talk about the tweet that launched a dozen death threats, and more importantly, what that taught me about word choice, existing in a public space, and the fragility of a brand.
